TESTIMONIAL:

I have two successful experiences so far with my new Myrkos portable DGA unit that I wish to share with you.

In the first of these, a Buchholz trip caused a great deal of anxiety. I was able to go to site, confirm the transformer was OK and focus the effort on finding the problem in the protection circuit. The end result was a RTS in 24 hours, something we could not have achieved in this situation in the past.

On the second occasion, a buchholz trip of an extremely important transformer caused a great deal of grief until I arrived on site with an electrical test man who ruled out a winding and insulation problem while I cleared the oil sample. The result was that we found a mechanical root cause of the trip which was resolved and the machine put back into service (saving around $200k per day according to our traders).

The Myrkos results and the subsequent lab test report were a pretty good comparison as far as I am concerned and it gives me more confidence to use this instrument for all of these events.

I am sharing these experiences with you as a way of thanking you for providing us with a quality instrument and providing the services that were promised. They also serve to rationalise the expense of quality equipment.
